Batteries Plus of Seekonk, MA, 2771

I’ve been a loyal customer for many years. I’ll be 80 soon, so that’s saying a lot.BatteriesPlus of Seekonk is THE only place i go for my battery and bulb needs. Keep up the good work. 👍

I was so incredibly lucky to have stayed at the TownePlace Suites across the street. My wife and I were traveling from Connecticut to Rhode Island for a wedding and decided to stay in Seekonk. After checking in on Saturday, we went out for dinner and the car was struggling to start. I thought maybe I had just left something on so I had the car jumped by AAA and drove it for about an hour to ensure the battery was recharged. Next morning when we were checking out, the battery was dead again. Luckily for us, this place was right across the street. So had the car battery jumped again and went to Batteries Plus for a new battery. Not only was the price less than what I would have paid at Autozone or through AAA (about $30 less) but it also included installation. The only hiccup was my car was considered a non-standard install, since the battery is in the trunk and in a hard to reach place. At first they said they would not do the installation since it's more complicated. However, after pleading my case that I didn't want to get stranded, they set the expectation that they'll try their best and if they can't do it they will have to abort the install. I was grateful and both staff members at the store along with Josh the owner were very empathetic and understanding of the situation without overpromising and underdelivering. Next thing I know, they tell me install is complete and I'm all set. Everything went flawlessly and I cannot thank the two gentlemen (forgot their names, they were working on Sunday 5/17/26) for being so professional and for helping us out and also big thanks to Josh for going above and beyond as well. I didn't even know this store existed and has franchise locations in my state. Because of the fantastic experience I had, I will only go to them with all my battery needs for all 4 of my cars moving forward. I wish I lived closer to Seekonk but they have locations near me in CT. I hope other businesses learn from this. Each individual employee, even at a franchise, has the tremendous power to make or break a customer's experience and view of a business/brand. And this store was a true ambassador for Batteries Plus and could not have done a better job representing the brand and winning a life long customer for the brand. After all, they could have said no per policy and told me to pound sand but they went above and beyond ensuring I had an excellent customer experience. Thanks once again, gentlemen.
