Batteries Plus has the right replacement batteries for your E-Z-GO golf cart. Whether you use your E-Z-GO golf cart on the course or for other uses, like camping, hauling materials or cruising around a neighborhood, resort or retirement community, you'll find the reliable batteries you need to keep your golf cart going strong.
At Batteries Plus, we carry batteries for all E-Z-GO golf cart models, including the 2Five, RXV, ST, Medalist, MPT, TXT, Workhorse, Marathon, Terrain and Express. We have batteries for both gas powered and electric E-Z-GO golf carts, including 6 volt, 8 volt and 12 volt golf cart batteries.
Our selection of E-Z-GO golf cart batteries includes flooded, AGM and lithium deep cycle batteries. AGM and lithium golf cart batteries offer a better performance. They're completely sealed, which means they require no additional maintenance. Plus, AGM and lithium golf cart batteries last longer, charge faster and perform better in extreme temperatures.
We also carry a variety of golf cart battery chargers to help maintain your E-Z-GO golf cart battery when your golf game is done.
This model and year of your E-Z-GO golf cart can be found in your owner's manual or by locating the serial number and manufacturer's numbers on the golf cart itself. Depending on the year and model of your golf cart, you will find this information located on the rear passenger-side frame, inside or under the passenger-side glove box or on the frame under the driver-side seat.
The serial number consists of 6 or 7 numbers. Once you have the serial number, you can enter this information into the E-Z-GO website to verify the make and model of your golf cart. The manufacturer number will consist of 1 letter and 3 or 4 numbers. The last two numbers of the manufacturer's number tells you what year your E-Z-GO golf cart was manufactured.
Your E-Z-GO golf cart will take flooded, AGM or lithium deep cycle batteries. A gas powered golf cart will require one starting battery like a car. An electric golf cart will require numerous batteries (typically between 4 & 6 batteries, although some take 8) in order to operate. Golf cart batteries are available in 6, 8 or 12 volts. Check your owner's manual to determine your E-Z-GO golf cart's overall voltage and what voltage batteries it requires.
Golf cart batteries typically last between 4 and 6 years, although the lifespan of your battery will depend largely on the chemistry of the battery and how well it is maintained. Be sure that you regularly charge your E-Z-GO golf cart battery any time it drops below 50% of its total capacity. You also need to be sure to avoid overcharging your battery as this will shorten its lifespan.
If you have a flooded battery in your golf cart, you will also need to maintain the electrolyte solution inside it by topping it off with distilled or deionized water. Check your battery's levels about once a month. AGM and lithium batteries are completely sealed and do not require you to replace their water.
