The starting battery in your Nissan LEAF should last in the 3-5 year range. Extreme hot and cold weather can shorten your starting battery's life, as can your driving habits.

A replacement Nissan LEAF starting battery will depend on the type of battery you select. A flooded battery will cost you less upfront. An AGM battery costs more upfront, however, its longer lifespan will often save users money in the long run.
