Cold cranking amps (CCAs for short) tell you how well an auto battery will work once the temperature drops to 0℉. Your owner's manual will tell the minimum CCA rating that your PT Cruiser requires. If you live in a very cold climate, you can always buy a battery with a higher CCA rating, but do not buy one with a lower number of CCAs than your vehicle requires.
