BMW introduced their small SUV, the X3, in the fall of 2003. At the time, there were not many competitors in the luxury small SUV market so the initial X3 did very well. It had the classic BMW feel with the added benefit of seating 5 with plenty of space for bags and gear. The X3 has gone through many design changes in its tenure but it still remains a high-end experience with luxurious comfort with the latest technology features.

The life of a battery in your BMW X3 will depend on its maintenance and use. Most batteries in your X3 will last 3-5 years when they are properly cared for. With many BMW batteries in the cargo area they are not exposed to as many elements as they would if they were in the engine bay. This doesn't mean you can just forget about it. If you neglect your battery by not regularly cleaning the battery terminals and checking for and removing corrosion you will find yourself replacing it much sooner.
