Advantages of Incandescent Light Bulbs

The primary reason people choose incandescent light bulbs is flexibility and cost. Incandescent bulbs come in multiple glass shapes, and colors to provide just the right lighting for most any space. Due to their long history, production costs have been minimized, and savings have been passed on to consumers. While some incandescent bulbs have been phased out in favor of more energy efficient bulb types like LED, many incandescent bulbs remain for decorative, everyday, and specialty uses.
