There comes a time when every car or truck needs a new battery. If that time is now for you and your Acura TLX, the expert team at Batteries Plus can help. Whether you're shopping in-store or online, Batteries Plus makes it easy to find the right battery for your Acura TLX. If you're shopping on our site, try our easy-to-use battery finder which makes it easy to locate the perfect starting battery for your Acura. Simply enter your VIN, your license plate number, or your vehicle's year/make/model. Shopping in one of our 700+ locations? The team will be glad to help. The brands we carry include battery options from Optima, Odyssey, Duracell Ultra, and our exclusive brand X2Power  . We have flooded batteries available, as well as AGM options for those looking to upgrade their TLX's performance. Plus, all of our batteries come with free replacement warranties.

Generally speaking, the battery in your Acura TLX will last 3-5 years, depending on a number of factors. What's the weather like where you live? Extreme cold AND extreme heat are both battery killers. How much maintenance do you do? Keeping your battery terminals clean and clear of corrosion   are important. And lastly, what kind of driving do you do? To help keep your battery running strong, it's important to drive at freeway speeds for about 20 minutes every week.

If you're not sure whether you need a new battery in your Acura TLX, the experts at your local Batteries Plus can test your battery   for free in about 2 minutes. That way, you'll know for sure whether your battery has a lot, or very little, life left.

If you're looking for the most reliable battery for your Acura TLX, be sure to check out our premium line of X2Power AGM batteries  . X2Power batteries feature 99.9% pure lead electrochemistry, which greatly increases their resistance to corrosion and temperature while providing them with much longer lifespans. How long? An X2Power AGM battery will typically last 3x longer than a flooded battery.
