In addition to our extensive selection of battery solutions, Batteries Plus also offers fast, affordable iPhone repair, Samsung repair and tablet repair service. If you've never visited one of our stores before, you probably have a few questions. What type of issues do we repair? How long does it take for us to fix your phone? Today we'll be answering your most common questions to help you get a feel for how our device repair service works.
We offer the following device repair services for cell phones and tablets:
We repair most Apple, Samsung and Google devices. If you have another brand device that requires service, reach out to your local store and ask if they can fix it for you.
Here is the average time it takes to repair common issues. Keep in mind that these are only average estimates. The actual time it takes to repair your phone depends on the severity of the damage, the type of device and how busy the technicians are during your appointment.
If you're curious how much it will cost to repair your phone or tablet, simply bring your device to your nearest Batteries Plus. Our technicians will be happy to take a look at it and provide you with a free estimate.
Our tablet and cell phone repair service is backed up by a 6-month limited national warranty on all parts and labor. If your device still isn't working right when you leave the store, just bring it into one of our 700+ locations and we'll fix the issue at no additional cost. The warranty is voided if the device has been altered or repaired by another party.
At Batteries Plus, our technicians receive extensive training, followed by constant procedural updates to stay on top of new models and changing technology. In addition, Batteries Plus also takes part in the Cellular Telecommunications and Internet Association's (CTIA) WISE certification program (available at participating locations only).
In order to become certified, each technician must pass a knowledge and skills test that gauges the technician's abilities. For more information on WISE certification, read our blog "What is WISE Certification and What Does It Mean for Cell Phone Repair?"
It's not necessary to clear your phone prior to having it repaired, nor will you be asked to share your passcode. After completing the repair, the technician will request that you unlock the device so that they can test its full functionality, but that is the only time they will access the device.
The two most common cell phone repairs are battery replacement and screen repair.
