On November 2nd, 2022, Johnson Controls recognized Batteries Plus as a 2022 Leadership Award winner in shareholder value. This award is given annually to supply companies that provide world-class performance as providers.
Johnson Controls is a world leader in the smart building industry. They provide large scale automation for business facilities related to healthcare, schools, data centers, airports, stadiums, hotels, manufacturing facilities and more.
Batteries Plus was recognized for fulfilling Johnson Controls' needs at a time when many other suppliers were hampered by supply chain challenges. Our team was able to create a number of programs to help Johnson Controls save money through efficiencies, while increasing their overall ROI.
Johnson Controls utilizes a number of interconnected systems that require a great deal of batteries. Our inventory management program ensures that technicians have access to the portable power they require to service life-saving systems, fire and security panels, security systems and more. Additionally, our large national presence (700+ stores located throughout the U.S.) allows technicians to pick up additional supplies in the field, to finish jobs as quickly as possible.
Recycling is another key initiative for Johnson Controls, which strives to be as sustainable as possible. The sales team at Batteries Plus was able to create recycling programs for many of the company's locations throughout the country, enabling them to dispose of spent batteries and lighting in an environmentally-conscious way.
