Laptop Battery Analysis Service

Let’s face it, laptops are an investment and we want them to last as long as possible. That also goes for the laptop's battery. Batteries Plus Bulbs wants to help extend the life of your battery and save you money. So let us test your battery before you purchase a new one.

An industry first, our laptop battery analyzers and testers are leading-edge tools not used anywhere else. While there are testers available for many different batteries, laptop batteries are more complex than others and have not been able to be tested - until now.

Why should I have my laptop battery tested?

It’s simple. Why spend money buying a new battery if you don't need to?

When your laptop starts performing slowly, no longer holds a charge or is getting old, your first thought might be that it needs a new battery. In a matter of minutes, we can tell you if the battery is the problem. If testing shows the battery is at the end of its life, we have hundreds of high quality laptop batteries available to replace the old battery. If life remains, we can tell you approximately how much longer it’ll run before needing to purchase a new battery.

Be sure to bring in your laptop and adapter - not just the battery. If testing shows the battery is not the problem, we can check the adapter. If the adapter is the culprit, that can be easily fixed or replaced. If neither the battery nor the adapter are to blame, your problem may be with the laptop itself. In this case, we recommend taking it to a computer expert for diagnosis.

The test only takes a few minutes and is performed right there while you wait – no appointments necessary. And, Batteries Plus Bulbs is the only retailer with this tester! You will not find this available anywhere else. Bring in your personal or company laptop(s) for testing.

We can also help you properly recycle your old laptop battery. Each Batteries Plus Bulbs location is a drop-off point for battery recycling. Learn more about our recycling programs for consumers and businesses.
