We also encourage team spirit when it comes to supporting our favorite local and national teams, and will often have special events such as team apparel day or a special lunch. All employees are eligible to participate in the Retirement 401(k) Plan. Employees are automatically enrolled into the 401K at first open enrollment after six months of employment. Batteries Plus Bulbs matches 100% of the first 1% of employee deferrals and 50% of the next 5%. As part of the wellness focus, the company provides classes and experts to help individuals manage their personal financial wellness. Batteries Plus Bulbs offers a generous paid personal time-off (PTO) plan. PTO includes vacation days, sick days, personal days, holidays, and encompasses time off for ill dependents.
