Replacement batteries for your Prius will range in price from around $175 for flooded, and up to $300 for premium AGM. All Prius batteries come with free replacement warranties that range anywhere from 2 to 4 years.

How long a battery will last will depend on its use. Most Toyota Prius starting batteries will last 3-5 years if they are taken care of. However, if you neglect your battery and don't clean the terminals to remove any corrosion, it could need replacing much sooner.

The size of the battery will largely depend on the year and submodel of the Prius that you have. Be sure to use our fitment finder on batteriesplus.com to make sure you are purchasing the correct battery. A common battery size seen in many Toyota Prius years is the BCI Group Size 51P and comes in multiple designs from flooded to premium AGM.
