Batteries Plus, a retail chain, has recently opened for business in Southwest San Angelo.

Batteries Plus, 4463 Sunset Drive, offers a comprehensive selection of batteries, battery-related products and technical support. It also offers custom in-house battery assembly, rebuild battery packs and recycle lead-based batteries.

The business will also focus on serving senior citizens by offering home service calls to install batteries in medical equipment such as wheelchairs and offer commercial assistance to local businesses.

Products include thousands of batteries ranging from common items such as watches, cameras and cordless telephones to larynx batteries for electronic voice boxes, solar landscape lights, talking books for children and keyless entry door locks at major hotels.
