A Batteries Plus - the third in Colorado Springs - has opened at 5620 Woodmen Road. Batteries Plus offers more than 15,000 types of batteries in store and has access to more than 40,000. It also offers free recycling.

The father-daughter team of Jim and Jennifer Rohr have kicked off the new year with a new Batteries Plus store.
This makes site number three for the duo, who own the rights to building the Batteries Plus brand in the greater San Antonio area.
The newest store is located in the Redland Oaks Shopping Center at Redland Road and Loop 1604, on the city’s far North Side.
The Redland shop joins the family’s existing stores — at 2277 N.W. Military Highway in North Central San Antonio, and at 6891 Bandera Road on the city’s Northwest Side.

Other stores are at 3841 William Penn Highway, Monroeville; 4808 McKnight Rd., Ross; and 3912 Library Rd., Castle Shannon. The company offers new and recharged batteries.
