Batteries Plus is proud to partner with leading organizations in the battery, light bulb and franchising industries as well as with charitable organizations. Below is some information regarding these important affiliations.

International Franchise Association (IFA)

The IFA is the only U.S. association serving the franchising industry for franchisors, suppliers and franchisee members. Batteries Plus is a proud member of the IFA and actively participates in this important association through shared knowledge, industry practices and the growth of franchising.

Veterans Transition Franchise Initiative (VetFran)

VetFran is a national program coordinated by the International Franchise Association (IFA) to help military veterans become franchisees. Batteries Plus is a participating member of VetFran and is offering a $10,000 franchise fee discount to qualified military veterans in several prime markets. We have veteran franchisees that have put well-earned leadership skills, motivation, and discipline to use by operating their own franchise.

USA Cares

USA Cares is a non-profit organization that helps bear the burdens of service by providing post-9/11 military families with financial and advocacy support in their time of need. They assist veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and traumatic brain injury (TBI) with work to prevent home foreclosures and evictions and assist veterans with career placement. USA Cares is a Kentucky based 501(c) 3 non-profit, charitable organization founded in 2003 and registered with the IRS. Batteries Plus has partnered with USA Cares to raise money through the "Time to Care" campaign to benefit their Jobs for Vets program.

Battery Solutions

Battery Solutions is a permitted large quantity handler of all types of universal waste including batteries. Through our affiliation with Battery Solutions, Batteries Plus is able to be a true destination for consumers to go and properly dispose of batteries and small electronics. Batteries Plus believes in the power of educating our customers and communities on the importance of recycling.

Waste Management

Waste Management is the preferred supplier for light bulb recycling. Waste Management offers a box and pallet program to business establishments in which to place used light bulbs for recycling.
